bleh

Davy has another cold. She(we) had a really rough night. With Scott gone, it made things a little harder. But hey, don't feel too bad for us, Saint Elizabeth came and helped me get the kids off to school and then took Harper to D-land, so I could take Davy to the doctors. Can I just tell you my sister Beth has the energy of 10 women. I am a m a z e d with her multitasking skills. She took the kids to school, while somehow cleaning my house, on her phone the whole time doing real estate. Did I mention that she is relief Society president? It's pretty amazing. Which by the way, if your ever in need of a realtor........ you could never get better then a Saint.

Love her every day and tell her often. I lost my sister two summers ago very suddenly at 49; life irrevocably changed.

We got sick this month too and it is a huge bummer, especially when you are alone. It is just that time of year! Hang in there, ya done good so far! She's only had 2 colds in 6 months so you are an amazing germ protector.

PS Finished City of Bones. Loved it. Can't wait to read the second one.

PPS Beth is AMAZING! We gave up on selling our little house after 10 months on the market. I remember the day in October 2008 driving down the 10 freeway (in Houston) when she called and said she had found someone to buy it. I think she might be magical.

I hope Davy is feeling better. Nicholas just got over a cold and it was such a bummer, even with my husband at home.

Sisters are the best, aren't they?

You just relax and love on little Davy. The rest will take care of itself...eventually!

Ahhhhh...Thank you for the Post of appreciation!

I love that Davy Girl...and your boys. I feel blessed to be a part of their lives.

I love how you put in a plug for Real Estate for me...remember how my first year in Real Estate most of my transactions came from your referrals.

Hi I'm another cjane reader. I've been reading your blog for the past week, I've officially read thru it since you started. Your family is awesome! Davy has the prettiest eye lashes! Just thought I would say hey.

You are an amazing women Ruth. Even when you were a little girl, you attracted crowds (maybe just family members none the less), you were/are super funny!! Comic relief is what we all need to get through the day. Many people just want to be around a person like you, so USEum' for the help you need at this, under 1 and needy time. For payment, make their day and tell them a funny story or let them see the smile from your kids. Hope she has a good day and you too.

Does this Realtor find homes that need renting in the slc area? I am getting married in April and moving to Utah in march and we are looking to rent a 2-3 bdrm home. Thanks!

Wow. I found you and Julia on fb tonight. I haven't seen you guys in a year and you were both on my mind. Messaged you; went to msg Julia and was led here. So many challenges, so many blessings. You know I've had my share as well. Mom's health issues (the COPD, breast cancer and 2 brain surgeies) changed her from a vibrant woman to a large version of a little baby-dydies, spoon-feeding and a member of 'the club', or a version of it. We lost our home to foreclosure but I still have mom. Moved to LA for a new job a year or so ago. Last Oct 29 I was creamed in a hit & run. My 'dream job' ended when the company closed. Just had to move again as my lease was up. Ugh! Hate moving!
But we're still hanging. I have tons of things I should be doing, but here I sit, several hours later, still catching up. I've known you since, what, 1996 or '97? I got to catch up on the kids (my Lord, have they ever grown!) I certainly don't wish challenges on anyone, especially my friends. But hearing the inside story somehow reminds you that you are not alone, there are others in 'the club' and there are 'other clubs' as well. God bless you & keep you strong. I still need to get back to say hello to Julia. And to think I just had a ? about a hair mistake!
